Both ball joints, CB-38FT and CB-58FT are equipped with a tilting device. This means that when operating the tilting unit, the ball can only be rotated around its center axis. The ball joint is now a 2-D tilting unit.

With the newly developed Vido Tilt, the camera is positioned with the guide handle

and can be fixed in any position with a clockwise rotation. This new type of locking is done parallel to the ball and thus assures a precise point subject area. At the same time, the friction lock provides stable support for the camera. This technique is also used for the new leveling plate.

The locking and graduated movement system are also new for the Panorama unit.
